📄 Abstract
This article substantiates business pedagogy as an interdisciplinary field that functions as an upbringing-based driver of economic development, linking the formation of economic culture and entrepreneurial thinking in the younger generation to macro-level indicators of economic growth. Drawing on human capital theory, endogenous growth theory, and the concept of entrepreneurship capital, the study proposes a structural-functional model comprising five interrelated functions of business pedagogy — economic-cultural, motivational-entrepreneurial, human-capital-forming, institutional-integrative, and reflective-strategic — through which upbringing processes translate into economic outcomes. The practical significance of each function was assessed through an expert survey of specialists in pedagogy and economics.
