📄 Abstract

In the contemporary corporate landscape, human capital is recognized as a premier organizational asset. As a critical factor of production, the workforce yields the highest return on investment, driving sustainable organizational growth and development. Human Resource Management (HRM) primarily operates to achieve three core objectives: fostering high job satisfaction, optimizing the utilization of available human capital, and generating viable employment opportunities. To achieve these benchmarks, effective and dynamic management of human resources is essential. Today, HRM is undergoing a massive paradigm shift. Traditional administrative practices are being replaced by sophisticated, technology-driven sub-disciplines such as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), Strategic HRM (SHRM), Human Resource Accounting, and HR Audits. This paper analyzes contemporary issues and emerging methodologies in HRM and evaluates their strategic significance. Utilizing a secondary data-driven methodology—aggregating insights from academic journals, textbooks, research articles, and digital databases—this study provides a conceptual overview of the modernization of the HR function.
