📄 Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into cyber security has transformed both defensive and offensive strategies in cyberspace. While AI offers enhanced threat detection, rapid response capabilities, and predictive analytics, it also poses novel risks and legal challenges when used for cyber offenses. This paper explores the evolving landscape of AI in cyber security, focusing on the legal issues surrounding its deployment for both protection and attack. It highlights existing national and international legal frameworks, identifies regulatory gaps, and provides recommendations for future governance.
