📄 Abstract
This article compares the general grammatical meaning in the category of voice between English and Uzbek, focusing on how verbs express the relationship between the subject and action. It examines the active and passive voices in both languages, highlighting how each conveys general (GGM) and specific (SGM) grammatical meanings. The study explores the similarities and differences in their morphosyntactic features, such as auxiliary verbs in English and the agglutinative nature of Uzbek. The comparison offers insights into the linguistic structures of both languages, contributing to cross-linguistic and typological studies.
