📄 Abstract
The rapid proliferation of digital infrastructure, unified real-time payment architecture (UPI), affordable mobile data, and expanding vernacular internet penetration has fundamentally altered the Indian consumer landscape. Modern marketing management in India operates at the intersection of hyper-local digital engagement and traditional retail distribution networks. This research evaluates the socio-economic drivers behind Indian consumer behavior, synthesizes key empirical literature from recent Indian scholarly studies (2021–2025), presents a comprehensive sectoral analysis of consumer engagement, details a quantitative research methodology (N = 1,200), outlines critical empirical results derived via Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), and constructs an actionable strategic framework addressing limitations and directions for future research.
