📄 Abstract
This study investigates the effectiveness of student-designed infographic materials in enhancing disaster awareness among Grade 7 students at Holy Cross Academy, Tubigon, Bohol, during the academic year 2024-2025. A quasiexperimental design was employed, involving 50 students in the control group, exposed to text-only materials, and 50 students in the experimental group, provided with infographic-based materials. The research examined awareness levels regarding earthquakes, typhoons, and floods using pre-tests and post-tests. Findings revealed that the experimental group demonstrated significantly greater improvements in disaster awareness compared to the control group. Hence, the study concluded that the student-designed infographic materials are effective in raising disaster awareness. The findings highlight the value of infographic materials as engaging and effective educational tools that enhance comprehension and retention. The study concludes that integrating studentdesigned infographics into disaster education programs fosters better preparedness and awareness among learners. Recommendations include broader implementation of infographic-based learning in schools and further research to explore its applicability in other contexts. This study contributes insights into the educational application of infographics in disaster preparedness.
