📄 Abstract
Stakeholder participation in school-related activities remains a global concern, with studies across countries consistently reporting low levels of engagement among parents and other key stakeholders in school programs and initiatives. The study aimed to describe the experiences of public-school principals, teachers, and parents in implementing the program. A qualitative case study design was employed using in-depth and focus group discussions with ten (10) participants chosen through purposive sampling. Findings revealed that Brigada Eskwela, viewed through Freeman’s Stakeholder Theory, manifested in three main themes: obligations and expectations to participate in Brigada Eskwela, information channels of the stakeholders, and the creation of social norms in participating in Brigada Eskwela. The program fostered strong collaboration and engagement among stakeholders, enhancing school readiness and educational quality. It is recommended that schools continuously strengthen community partnerships to sustain meaningful participation in future Brigada Eskwela activities.
