📄 Abstract
The study examines the impact of corporate governance and ethical practices on organisational sustainability using panel data from five major Indian listed companies: Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys and Bajaj Finance over the period 2015–16 to 2024–25. Secondary data is collected from company annual reports and financial statements. Profitability score is used as a proxy for organisational sustainability, while Corporate Governance Index and Ethical Practices Score are used as explanatory variables. Statistical tools such as descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, ANOVA and regression analysis are used to test the hypotheses. The findings indicate that stronger governance structures and ethical practices positively influence organisational sustainability and improve long-term financial performance. The study contributes to understanding how governance quality and ethical behaviour jointly shape sustainable business performance.
