📄 Abstract

The comparative analysis of mean homocysteine (Hcy) levels in patients with hyperhomocysteinemia (HHcy) among the studied groups showed that Hcy levels in patients with preserved EF (EF >50%) were significantly lower (21.2 ± 0.3 µmol/L) compared to patients with reduced EF (EF 40–49%: 22.9 ± 0.4 µmol/L and EF <40%: 24.0 ± 0.5 µmol/L) (p<0.001).
