📄 Abstract

In light of the current geopolitical and security environment in the Indian Ocean region, India requires a modern navy to safeguard its maritime interests and carry out new duties. The Indian Navy, which is the primary display of Indias maritime might, wants to rule both the Indian and Pacific oceans. It has been working tirelessly to improve naval prowess. The Indian Navys plans to modernise, however, have been hampered by a number of obstacles, including financial limitations and structural dysfunction in the Indian military industry.
