📄 Abstract
In linguistics, there are several definitions of the term connotation. By the term connotation, we mean the additional meaning of a linguistic unit with elements of semantics and stylistics. In the course of our analysis, we tried to identify the components of the connotation of the semantic field â??evil spiritsâ? using the example of the Uzbek and Russian languages.
