📄 Abstract

Blood pressure is the force of blood pushing against the walls of the arteries as the heart pumps blood. If this pressure rises and stays high over time, known as Hypertension. High blood pressure (hypertension) can quietly damage your body for years before symptoms develop. There is a natural tendency for blood pressure to rise with age due to the reduced elasticity of the arterial system. Age is therefore one of the factors that needs to be taken into account in deciding whether a person blood pressure is too high
