📄 Abstract

Sports footwear has evolved into a technologically advanced product that integrates fashion, biomechanics, and material science to enhance athletic performance. This research examines the role of friction, material innovation, and ergonomic design in sports shoe development. The study uses a qualitative and comparative methodology, analyzing various sports shoe structures, sole designs, and textile materials. Special emphasis is placed on frictional properties between the outsole and different surfaces, which directly influence grip, stability, and injury prevention. The findings suggest that optimized friction, combined with lightweight and breathable materials, significantly enhances user comfort and performance. Additionally, ergonomic construction improves foot alignment and reduces fatigue. The study concludes that modern sports footwear design must balance functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability. The research contributes valuable insights for fashion and footwear designers, highlighting the importance of integrating scientific principles into creative design processes for performance-oriented sports shoes.
