📄 Abstract
The paper looks at how health condition of the people has a bearing on the developmental processes. Worldâ??s largest organisation, the United Nations (UN) has clearly emphasised the inter-relationship between development and health in its Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The focus area of this paper is deduce to the diseases, Malaria which is mention in goals number six of the MDGs. The paper examines how Malaria has undermined the developmental process in India, and Mizoram in particular.
