📄 Abstract
The present drugs can treat most of the diseases which are exists today’s but Still there is a continuous search for finding the best of drugs with minimum adverse effects and proper therapeutic treatment than the available drugs. Keeping in view the growing popularity and market interest of the drug, present studies is undertaken to provide scientific support for its folkloric usage. The significant hypoglycemic and antioxidant activity of Anacyclus pyrethrum extract observed in the present investigation could be the result of its synergistic action of its constituents. Anacyclus pyrethrum has shown significant increase in physical parameters, increase in pain sensitivity. This indicates its protective role against damage to the neurons. Therefore, it can be concluded that Anacyclus pyrethrum has significant hypoglycemic and neuroprotective effects in experimental animals
