📄 Abstract

<p><em>This study explores the anatomy of superstructures in society and the present state of the Church in the Philippines. The Philippine Bishops recommended &ldquo;inculturation&rdquo;.</em> Pope John Paul 11 describes inculturation as &ldquo;the intimate transformation of authentic cultural values through their integration in Christianity and the insertion of Christianity in the various human cultures.&rdquo;&nbsp; In the process of inculturation the church and the culture of a people interact.&nbsp; The church introduces the Gospel into the life of the people.&nbsp; It requires evangelizers to immerse themselves in the cultural milieu of those to whom they are sent.&nbsp; It requires evangelizers to understand, appreciate, foster, and evangelize the culture of the people while equipping themselves to communicate effectively with it [Cf. PCP 11].&nbsp; This study also explores the Dimensions of Social Justice and The Situations of Injustice: Poverty, Powerlessness and Underdevelopment</p> <p><strong>KEYWORDS:</strong> inculturation, justice, poverty, powerlessness, underdevelopment</p>
