📄 Abstract
This review paper examines the impact of strategic public relations communication on the satisfaction of health insurance beneficiaries in hospital settings. As healthcare systems worldwide undergo digital transformation and increasing consumerization, the role of strategic communication in shaping patient experience has become paramount. This paper synthesizes findings from recent empirical studies, systematic reviews, and theoretical frameworks published between 2020 and 2026 to explore how public relations strategies influence beneficiary satisfaction across multiple dimensions: information transparency, communication quality, trust-building, and service recovery. The review reveals that strategic public relations communication significantly enhances health insurance beneficiaries' satisfaction through clear policy explanation, empathetic engagement, proactive outreach, and responsive feedback mechanisms. However, gaps remain in integrating communication strategies with insurance-specific concerns, particularly regarding financial transparency and claims processing. The paper concludes with evidence-based recommendations for hospital administrators, health insurance providers, and public relations practitioners to optimize communication strategies that maximize beneficiary satisfaction in an increasingly competitive healthcare landscape.
